  • Experience with data exchange formats such as CIM, XML, JSON, CSV, geospatial extracts, equipment lists, and telemetry mapping files.
  • Ability to test and troubleshoot DERMS analytical outputs for forecasting, optimization, and aggregated monitoring and controls by validating topology, telemetry, constraints, customer and program settings, and distributed energy resource attributes.
  • Strong communication, analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to translate model issues into actionable engineering and system corrections.
  • Ability to collaborate across engineering, distribution operations, IT/OT, data governance, vendors, and business stakeholders.
  • Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, GIS, Data Analytics, Management Information Systems, or a related degree or certification.

  • Partner with distribution planning, distribution operations, engineering, IT/OT, distributed energy resource program teams, and vendors to resolve model defects and improve operational outcomes.
  • Support DERMS model build processes that convert data files and source-system extracts, including CIM, XML, JSON, GIS exports, SCADA point data, asset data, customer data, distributed energy resource attributes, and program parameters into the network operations model.
  • Maintain and improve DERMS model readiness by identifying missing equipment, topology issues, phase and connectivity errors, stale attributes, telemetry mismatches, distributed energy resource attribution gaps, and customer and program data discrepancies.
  • Coordinate model improvements in GIS, SCADA, ADMS, DERMS Model Manager, asset management systems, customer systems, and other systems that supply or consume the operational model.
  • Query databases and source-system repositories to validate model data, reconcile mismatches, investigate defects, support reporting, and document the lineage of model attributes used by DERMS.
  • Develop and maintain repeatable workflows for model quality checks, data cleansing, version control, model promotion, exception tracking, and operational handoff.
  • Support ADMS and DERMS Model Manager integration, model governance, process documentation, and long-term network operations modeling support.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and recommendations for model data standards, model maintenance procedures, interface improvements, and operational reporting.

Robinhood, Coinbase jumped, Marvell and edison slumped.

Robinhood, Coinbase jumped, Marvell and edison slumped. The wild price swings among the sectors continued in the last day. Discount trading firms Robinhood (HOOD) and Futu Holdings (FUTU) broke out of their recent uptrend. Renewed momentum for the U.S. Clarity Act, which regulates cryptocurrencies, lifted those stocks. Higher crypto trading volumes would increase revenues for Robinhood and Coinbase (COIN). HOOD stock gained 13% in the last week while COIN stock jumped by 25.6%. Short interest on Coinbase shares is at 10.12%. In the storage sector, Marvell Technology (MRVL) fell to its 50-day moving average, down by 5.57% last Friday. The firm will expand its range of custom silicon programs that attach to Alphabet's (GOOG) TPU chip. That includes AI inference accelerators, storage and network controllers, and near-memory compute. Edison International (EIX) revisited the $70 lows. Earlier this month, the LA County report wrote that electrical sparks from EIX's out-of-service transmission tower caused California's Eaton fire. The firm already took responsibility for the fire. It offered more than $775 million in funds to support the Wildfire Recovery Compensation Program. EIX stock is a compelling investment. Its dividend yields 4.83%. The firm has good value, strong profitability, and saw bullish EPS and revenue revisions from analysts in the last three months. Edison's peers include PG&E (PCG), ConEd (ED), and The Southern Company (SO).
