Requirements
  • Advanced knowledge of product ownership within a data, business intelligence, or artificial intelligence context, with a proficient understanding of modern data architecture, systems, and enablement frameworks.
  • Strong proficiency with Tableau, Google Cloud Platform, and BigQuery.
  • Experience managing, governing, and scaling Tableau Cloud as an enterprise platform, including security administration, content lifecycle management, and platform architecture.
  • Expertise in SQL for complex data analysis and a strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and metadata management and cataloging, specifically Dataplex/Knowledge Catalog.
  • Familiarity with or a strong desire to support artificial intelligence and machine learning initiatives, including Conversational Data Intelligence capabilities, Vertex AI, and Gemini Enterprise.
  • Ability to understand highly complex data and technical problems and build scalable, cross-functional solutions that promote self-service capabilities.
  • Exceptional storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical information into business-friendly language and distill business needs into technical requirements.
  • Ability to collaborate with technical subject-matter experts, including Data Engineers, Cloud Architects, and Platform Administrators, to deliver large, cross-functional projects and initiatives.
  • Experience working in Agile environments.
  • Experience working with cloud-based data platforms.
Responsibilities
  • Define the vision and roadmap for a portfolio of data, analytics, and artificial intelligence products within the AI and BI Center of Enablement.
  • Identify and analyze gaps between current data and artificial intelligence capabilities and desired business outcomes, and document requirements for complex, cross-functional projects across the product portfolio.
  • Act as the strategic owner for enterprise visualization platforms, particularly Tableau Cloud, and define and enforce platform governance, site architecture, security models, user enablement, and performance optimization at scale.
  • Analyze data sources, metadata frameworks, and user requirements to design and propose solutions spanning reporting portals, conversational data interfaces, and self-service business intelligence tools.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of the Self-Service Toolkit, Enterprise Reporting Portal, and Conversational Data Intelligence products.
  • Maintain a deep technical and architectural understanding of data products and metadata management, especially at interfaces with internal systems and business processes.
  • Collaborate with business partners and stakeholders as a trusted advisor to help them implement business intelligence initiatives and artificial intelligence and machine learning experiments within governed environments.
  • Translate complex data, business intelligence, and artificial intelligence concepts into a business narrative and translate business requirements into technical specifications for engineering and enablement teams.
  • Create and validate data quality test scripts, business intelligence platform performance metrics, visualization accuracy scenarios, and user acceptance testing for the product portfolio.
  • Create and prioritize features and user stories, and convey the vision and requirements for reporting portals, conversational data interfaces, platform governance, and artificial intelligence enablement products to the development team.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience working in a Scaled Agile Framework environment.
  • SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager certification.
  • SAFe Agilist certification.
