  • Ability to build and maintain custom AI skills, prompts, or agent workflows to streamline quality assurance processes.
  • Understanding of non-deterministic testing for AI or large language model outputs and appropriate validation strategies.
  • Experience designing evaluation datasets and metrics, including accuracy, relevance, hallucination, toxicity, and latency, for AI-powered features.
  • Familiarity with AI observability and evaluation-monitoring platforms such as Arize AX/Phoenix, LangSmith, or Braintrust.

  • Build, customize, and maintain reusable AI skills and agentic workflows for repeatable quality assurance tasks, including test generation, regression checks, and defect documentation.
  • Apply spec-driven development practices, such as the AI-Driven Development Lifecycle, to translate requirements into structured specifications that guide AI-assisted test generation and validation.
  • Design and run evaluations for AI-powered features to measure accuracy, relevance, hallucination rate, and other quality metrics against defined test datasets.
  • Apply non-deterministic testing approaches for AI or large language model-based features using statistical thresholds, sampling, and repeated-run analysis rather than fixed pass/fail assertions.
  • Configure and monitor AI observability and evaluation tooling such as Arize AX/Phoenix or LangSmith to track model and agent performance, detect drift, and flag production regressions.
  • Identify, record, document, track, and close bugs.
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
