Requirements
  • 3 to 8 years of buy-side research experience required
  • Generalist sector coverage
  • Passion for investing and the markets
  • Strong quantitative, analytical and presentation skills
  • MBA and/or CFA preferred, with strong academic history
  • Ability to articulate (verbally and in writing) a clear and concise investment recommendation
  • Hard-working, motivated, enthusiastic, and personable with strong communication skills
  • Must be able to provide strong personal and professional references
  • Must obtain Series 7 & 66 licenses within 6 months of employment
Responsibilities
  • Provide analytical support & market research on a variety of sectors and companies to portfolio manager
  • Conduct research, evaluate and recommend investment ideas that meet investment objectives
  • Assist the team in identifying areas of opportunity and/or risk in order to improve overall performance
  • Build and maintain earnings models and informational databases
  • Be able to analyze performance reports for client reporting
  • Attend virtual company meetings and provide reports to portfolio manager
  • Provide high level service to both institutional and sophisticated high worth clients
