About You:

• 10+ years of propulsion hardware and test experience with either turbojets or rocket-engines, ideally both
• Experience leading a team – training up test conductors, developing test procedures and operating manuals
• Ability to manage multiple test sites
• Experience leading multiple test campaigns through full life-cycle
• Strong understanding of associated test infrastructure, propellant management, data & control systems, and ground support equipment 
• Understanding that speed doesn’t come at the expense of safety or quality

How You’ll Impact Hermeus:

• Own current Hermeus test facilities and support to testing across the engineering organization
• Own site planning and development of future Hermeus test facilities, consider future testing needs and chart the course to balance current and future testing requirements
• Drive a test culture across Hermeus that focuses on rapid hardware iteration to solve difficult technical problems.
• Use first principles to develop test plans that maximize learnings while minimizing additional work that doesn’t move development forward rapidly
• Responsible for the quality of testing across the company and operates as test director when necessary

• Jet-engine maintenance repair and overhaul experience
• New-space experience
