- License: LPC, LCSW or RN
- Education: All licenses require a Master’s Degree EXCEPT for the RN; the RN requires a Bachelor’s Degree
- Training: 1 week of formal training and then floor training
- Ability to type and talk at the same time; comfortable with working in a cubical environment and navigating through multiple systems
- Temp – to Perm position
- Authorize and review utilization of mental health and substance abuse services provided in inpatient and intermediate care settings
- Collect and analyze utilization data
- Assist with discharge planning and ambulatory follow up activity
- Provide member assistance with mental health and substance abuse issues
- Participate in quality improvement projects
- Manage a caseload of ICM members if assigned
- The selected candidate will manage 10-15 reviews per day
- Managed Care experience will stand out on the resume
- Wpm typing score preferred or requested
- Typing speed (words per minute) helpful as a qualification
