  • Bachelors Degree required
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in commercial lines insurance underwriting or operations
  • 5+ years of project management experience
  • PMP or similar certification required
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly MS Excel
  • Proficient in Jira and other Project Management Tools
  • Experience using tools such as Visio or Figma for workflow mapping preferred
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to independently drive projects and tasks
  • Demonstrated experience in managing teams effectively
  • Expertise in information systems design, implementation, security, and troubleshooting within the insurance industry
  • Ability to handle multiplate tasks and provide project management capabilities
Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning of broad scale ISC projects that involve Technology, Operations, Marketing, Accounting, and Underwriting business units – this includes insurance program concepts from start to finish as well as M&A activity and Business Unit expansion projects.
  • Provide project management for cross business-unit collaboration
  • Collaborate with Technology teams and business unit stakeholders to create detailed system and workflow requirements and propose efficient solutions in line with insurance industry standards.
  • Work closely with PMO Business Analysts and Technology on design, documentation, and implementation of configurable information systems, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance with regulatory standards where applicable.
  • Manage and troubleshoot system-related issues, offering technical support to users, and overseeing system upgrades or modifications to optimize performance.
  • Collaborate with Program Managers and underwriters evolve and maintain the rate, quote, bind, and policy issuance systems for both existing and prospective programs.
  • Facilitate a seamless transition of programs from acquired companies by collaborating with technical and underwriting teams to integrate them into the ISC platform.
  • Provide Project management, tracking, and business updates around key projects
Desired Qualifications
  • Prior experience in insurance technology implementations or InsurTech startups preferred
  • Experience with data integration and analytics
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance in insurance (e.g., NAIC, state-specific requirements)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and security best practices
