Skydance’s live-action Features group is looking for a Coordinator to join the Business & Legal Affairs team to support the department Executives. The ideal candidate has experience providing strong administrative support within the entertainment industry, stellar organization skills, and an enthusiasm for continuing their career in a fast paced, collegial environment.

Responsibilities

Manage Executives calendars, coordinate meetings and appointments
Screen and respond to incoming call and email correspondence
Manage communication with internal and external contacts including staff and management, agents, executives, creative talent, legal teams, etc.
Create, maintain, and organize shared databases and electronic filing systems
Format, review, and revise correspondence and other written materials including agreements, letters, memos, cover sheets, and other legal documents
Redline and version-compare agreements
Coordinate with productions regarding day-to-day Business & Legal Affairs services
Ad hoc projects and duties as required

Requirements

2+ years administrative experience, within Business Affairs and/or Legal capacity preferred
Working knowledge of entertainment landscape (e.g. agencies, law firms)
Paralegal certificate, a plus
Proficient in MS Word and Excel
Strong project management, time management, and long-term planning skills with high attention to detail
Ability to prioritize and manage a high volume of competing tasks in a fast paced, dynamic environment
Intellectually curious, with strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, strategic thinking, and reasoning skills
Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently through demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to handle confidential information and interface with all levels of management

The hourly range for this non-exempt position in Los Angeles is $24.04 - 25.00. The rate offered may vary based on the candidate’s location, qualifications, experience and relevant expertise, among other factors. The range indicated is for base salary only and does not reflect the total compensation package, including bonus, benefits, etc.
