Requirements
  • Current TS clearance with eligibility for SCI
  • Degree in science, mathematics, or engineering from an accredited university
  • 12 or more years of increasingly responsible professional engineering/scientific experience, including multi-disciplinary systems engineering and/or program management environments
  • Demonstrated leadership of broad multidisciplinary teams conducting technical evaluations of complex systems; cost, schedule and risk analysis; portfolio-level trade studies; and requirements development
  • Experience using model-based system engineering (MBSE)
  • Advanced experience in Systems Engineering processes including requirements traceability through entire product lifecycle
  • Exhibit high level of innovation, creativeness, and initiative
  • Demonstrated experience tailoring System Engineering processes to organizational needs
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
Responsibilities
  • Providing technical, planning, systems of systems engineering, and analytical support to the OTTI
  • Developing, fostering and maintaining relationships with OTTI customers to better understand technical and organizational gaps and challenges
  • Initiating studies designed to solve new technical problems and provide new technical solutions
  • Bridging the gap between Director of Engineering (Enterprise Systems) and Range Engineering Materiel Leaders (System of Systems) for the physical and digital (virtual/synthetic) ranges
  • Leading cross-organizational teams
  • Reaching across the Aerospace Engineering Backplane to obtain required expertise
Desired Qualifications
  • Prior experience working with SSC, SAF/SQ, SpOC, Delta 11, STARCOM, or OTTI
  • Advanced degree in science, mathematics, or engineering from an accredited university
  • Experience establishing system engineering processes within a newly formed organization
  • Extensive knowledge in formal DoD Acquisition processes and procedures
