Gastroenterologist

About this role:
As a Physician in Gastroenterology, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role you will be a part of an employed Medical Group Gastroenterology. We have a strong community need for increased access to GI and Endoscopy care and we have a team-based GI practice model with physician, APP, and nurse teamwork across our clinic and endoscopy locations. We will help support you in building your GI practice.
- This position includes a competitive salary with production incentives, a $50,000 sign-on bonus, up to $20,000 relocation assistance based on distance; student loan repayment and a training stipend are also available
- You will practice at McKay Dee Gastroenterology Group in Ogden, UT and Layton Gastroenterology with privileges at McKay Dee Hospital & Layton Hospital
- The call requirement is 1:5 and will be taken at our McKay Dee Hospital and Layton Hospital
- You will see on average 16 – 22 patients per day in clinic

What you’ll bring:
- MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
- Residency training in Internal Medicine
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine with a subspecialty in Gastroenterology
- ERCP is welcomed but not required for this position
- Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
- Candidates requiring Visa sponsorship will be reviewed on an individual basis
