Requirements
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 10+ years of IT and cloud engineering experience, including 5+ years designing and managing Microsoft Azure environments.
  • Deep expertise in Azure compute, networking, storage, identity, security, and Platform-as-a-Service offerings.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates for Infrastructure as Code.
  • Strong experience deploying and managing Azure Kubernetes Service in production environments.
  • Proven experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
  • Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
  • Experience implementing Azure governance, monitoring, security, compliance, and cost optimization strategies.
Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure.
  • Architect enterprise-grade Azure networking solutions, including Virtual Networks, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, Azure Firewall, Application Gateway, and Load Balancer.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
  • Design, deploy, and manage production-grade Azure Kubernetes Service clusters and containerized workloads.
  • Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions to support automated application deployments.
  • Implement Azure security best practices, including Microsoft Entra ID, Key Vault, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Azure Policy, RBAC, and Zero Trust principles.
  • Automate cloud provisioning, configuration management, and operational tasks using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
  • Monitor cloud environments using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights while driving reliability, performance, and cost optimization.
  • Lead cloud migration, modernization, disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity initiatives.
  • Collaborate with development, security, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to establish cloud governance and engineering best practices.
  • Mentor engineers, conduct architecture reviews, and provide technical leadership on enterprise cloud initiatives.
Desired Qualifications
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or other advanced Azure certifications.
  • Experience with hybrid cloud architectures and multi-cloud environments, including AWS or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of FinOps, cloud governance, cost optimization, and cloud security frameworks.
  • Experience with service mesh technologies such as Istio or Linkerd.
  • Experience supporting regulated environments such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOC 2, or FedRAMP.
  • Familiarity with GitOps, container security, and enterprise DevSecOps practices.
