SMX is seeking a Principal Full Stack Software Development Engineer to support a new USINDOPACOM J5 office in Hawaii developing an AI/ML enabled plans capability (STORMBREAKER). As a Principal Full Stack Software Development Engineer, you will be working on an accelerated development project in support of a high priority Department of Defense program. This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, integration of existing capabilities, as well as development of new applications. You would be a great candidate for this position if you are interested in developing intuitive web applications that will gather and present data from multiple sources. You understand the nuances and challenges of combining cloud-agnostic back-end architectures with modern front-end frameworks. You have a passion for working with customers and understanding how to create systems to help them accomplish their goals. The STORMBREAKER program represents a rare opportunity to modernize the current planning process by providing military decision makers with the latest technology and AI driven tools to keep our nation safe. Ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret SCI clearance which requires US citizenship for work on a DoD contract.
