Requirements
  • Ability to design test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures based on business requirements and/or functional specifications.
  • Ability to create and execute test cases manually.
  • Ability to document software defects and report defects to developers and the project manager.
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, screens, or content.
  • Ability to monitor bug-resolution efforts and track successes.
  • Ability to plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates.
  • Ability to independently analyze extensive data, identify discrepancies and inconsistencies, and recommend corrective action.
  • Experience with SQL and databases.
  • Required software skills include Windows, Windows Server Network, FTP, UNIX-to-PC connectivity, HTTP, TCP/IP, Internet Explorer, and Microsoft IIS.
Responsibilities
  • Participate in product design reviews by providing input on functional requirements and production design.
  • Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, and completeness, and to mitigate risks.
