Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science,

  • Must have a current/active Secret clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance if one becomes required in the future.

  • Experience with spectrum management tools and software.
  • Knowledge of interference analysis and resolution techniques.
  • Familiarity with national and international regulatory bodies and their spectrum management policies.
Responsibilities
  • Manage the allocation and assignment of RF spectrum to various communication systems and services, ensuring efficient and effective use of the spectrum.
  • Ensure compliance with national and international regulations governing the use of the RF spectrum. Stay updated on regulatory changes and implement necessary adjustments.
  • Identify and resolve interference issues that may affect the performance of communication systems. Work with internal and external stakeholders to mitigate and prevent interference.
  • Act as a liaison between the company and regulatory bodies, industry groups, and other stakeholders to coordinate spectrum usage and address spectrum-related issues.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for spectrum management, considering current and future needs of the organization and industry trends.
  • Develop and enforce policies and procedures related to spectrum management, ensuring consistent and effective practices across the organization.
  • Conduct technical analysis and assessments to support spectrum management decisions. Utilize tools and methodologies to analyze spectrum usage and performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of spectrum allocations, assignments, and usage. Prepare reports and documentation for regulatory submissions and internal use.
  • Provide training and guidance to internal teams on spectrum management practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand their spectrum needs and provide solutions that align with organizational goals and regulatory constraints.
