Requirements
  • A Bac+2/3 qualification in electrotechnics, automation, industrial systems, electrical engineering, railway engineering, or an equivalent field.
  • At least initial experience in railway studies, construction works, or maintenance, ideally in railway signaling or transport systems.
  • Technical rigor and respect for procedures.
  • Railway safety culture and seriousness in field work.
  • Ability to work within a project team.
  • Analytical ability and willingness to learn.
  • Interpersonal ease with varied stakeholders.
Responsibilities
  • Support the realization manager or project manager within a project management team.
  • Participate in execution studies for railway signaling.
  • Verify that studies comply with technical, functional, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare materials for study reviews and technical reviews.
  • Manage technical interfaces with track, energy, telecommunications, civil engineering, and other systems packages.
  • Prepare and update execution files.
  • Help prepare work phases, including methods, sequencing, schedules, and material needs.
  • Participate in preparing operating procedures, risk analyses, and prevention plans.
  • Assist the realization manager in coordinating contractors and participants.
  • Monitor railway signaling works in the field.
  • Verify that installations conform to approved studies.
  • Ensure compliance with railway safety and workplace safety rules.
  • Track progress and report on schedule, quality, and costs.
  • Help prepare and perform technical, static, dynamic, and functional tests.
  • Contribute to functional and safety compliance verification of installations.
  • Participate in commissioning and resolution of outstanding items.
  • Help compile project closeout files and technical records.
  • Participate in transferring installations to maintenance.
  • Capture lessons learned with the project team.
