Requirements
  • 1–3 years of experience in healthcare sales and/or marketing.
  • 1–3 years of business development experience.
  • A proven and verifiable track record of success in healthcare referral marketing, pharmaceutical sales, device sales, or physician marketing.
  • Established presence in the market.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or other customer relationship management platforms.
  • Ability to communicate with and positively persuade others.
  • Proficiency in medical terminology and medical acumen.
  • Strong business acumen.

  • Proof of, and continued maintenance of, minimum personal auto insurance coverage of $100,000 for bodily injury liability per person, $300,000 for bodily injury liability per accident, and $50,000 for property damage liability.
  • Ability to embrace and adapt to new system technologies to support the business.
  • Ability to meet the role's attendance and punctuality standards.
Responsibilities
  • Develop business plans for UVVC Vein Centers within the assigned territory, focusing on targeted physician referral growth.
  • Establish and maintain ongoing communication with physician offices, specialty clinics, hospitals, and other relevant partners throughout the patient lifecycle.
  • Educate contacts using branded materials, track leads through the customer relationship management system, ensure appropriate follow-up, and represent the UVVC brand professionally.
  • Contribute to the UVVC business plan and strategy in partnership with the director of business development.
  • Develop and expand the referral base to grow the designated UVVC clinic business.
  • Review, analyze, evaluate, and report on information and data regarding existing product performance and potential development opportunities.
  • Educate new and existing physician contacts about services offered by UVVC.
  • Maintain UVVC's image in the target community as an expert provider of vein-disease treatment.
  • Oversee efforts to position UVVC competitively and protect and grow market share, including routine analysis of competitors' strengths and services.
  • Identify physician referral opportunities in the medical community through research and prospecting.
  • Maintain ongoing communications with referring providers and their office staff through in-person visits, emails, and phone calls.
  • Provide physicians with information and branded messages about UVVC products and services.
  • Identify and coordinate speaking opportunities within hospitals, assisted living facilities, and medical associations.
  • Identify strategies to promote provider engagement and collaboration, including new-provider orientation, office visits, social events, referral dinners, and continuing education units.
  • Use networking opportunities to nurture relationships with local community organizations and small businesses and increase advocacy of UVVC within the territory.
  • Maintain the confidentiality and security of protected health information in accordance with UVVC policies, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
