  • Passion and knack for building data models and algorithmic systems that solve complex investment problems.
  • Deep interest in markets, finance, and investing.

  • Eligible to work in the United States for a minimum of 3 years from the candidate’s start date.

Responsibilities
  • Understand how the world’s markets and economies work and codify this understanding.
  • Design and build the algorithms which are used to generate Bridgewater's views on markets, translate those views into portfolios, and trade those portfolios.
  • Own every piece of investment logic as an Engineer who is an expert in their investment domain.
  • Design systems that beautifully express and run our investment logic and evolve with our investment understanding.
  • Run and develop a team of engineers to build and maintain the investment system.
