8x8, Inc. is looking for a Sr. Technical Program Manager to support the Business Applications organization in program/project execution and delivery. As a Technical Program Manager, you will be one of the key leaders on the PMO team and have an impact by defining strategy & requirements, developing processes & schedules, and driving forward progress on major initiatives. A successful candidate is an experienced and natural leader, facilitator, and go-getter; is dynamic, goals-driven, organized, and detail-oriented; excels in program/ project management; communicates with ease at all levels; thrives in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
-Manage the program-level execution of work across multiple delivery teams working across organizational boundaries to define roadmaps and program interdependencies using Agile methodology.
-Be a bridge between engineering, Quality Assurance, Product, and Business and effectively develop relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Mainly, build trust across the organization.
-Move fluidly from the big picture to details and enable the engineering teams to deliver complex and strategic cross-functional phases, often with tight deadlines.
-Lead global cross-functional teams from project initiation through delivery to ensure consistent execution and in sync with launch timelines
-Communicate regularly and precisely with business stakeholders and senior management on status, risks, current state assessments, future state roadmaps, and change control
-Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impair the team’s ability to meet strategic, roadmap, financial, and/or technical goals
-Manage cross-team dependencies, risks, prioritization, and trade-offs among customer experience, schedule, performance, and cost
Basic Qualifications:
-7+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams
-7+ years of technical program management experience
-Entrepreneurial spirit with a track record for delivering results in a fast-moving and highly collaborative environment.
-Proven leader with a hands-on approach; self-motivated, proactive and results-drive
-Experience managing programs/projects across functional teams globally, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
-Proven analytical thinking, skills in metrics creation and project management, attention to detail, and exceptional organizational skills
-Experience influencing others without authority, managing numerous stakeholders, getting buy-in from leadership, and communicating clearly and concisely with technical and non-technical stakeholders across all levels of the organization
-Ability to dive deep into understanding the products, our business, and the technical landscape
Preferred Qualification:
-Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, or related field
-Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud experience is highly desired
-PMP or SCRUM certified
-Change Management certified

Salary Range $85,125- $143,125.
*The compensation range reflects the Company’s good faith belief at the time of posting. 8x8 has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The range above reflects the potential base pay across the U.S. for this role; the applicable base pay range will depend on what ultimately is determined to be the candidate’s primary work location. Further, individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience, knowledge, success, education and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including discretionary merit increases, bonus and/or stock. Certain roles have the opportunity to earn sales variable compensation incentives based on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
