Responsibilities
  • Hire and develop teams of BRE & DTE Engineers
  • Set and report on measurable goals and objectives for the team
  • Set priorities for the BRE & DTE teams and individual team members
  • Own the DevOps culture, process, procedures, and decision support for product development and delivery
  • Evaluate, recommend, and implement software and tools to facilitate team success
  • Provide technical escalation and knowledge to resolve issues and technical hurdles
  • Facilitate collaboration through team meetings and conduct team-building activities
  • Report on team progress, status, and roadblocks to management
  • Advocate for the BRE & DTE teams and Bitwarden’s product, process, and organization
  • Conduct one-on-one meetings with direct reports for feedback and professional development
  • Perform semi-annual performance reviews when required
  • Perform hands-on development and support when necessary
  • Participate in backlog grooming, planning, and delivery activities
  • Become an expert on the Bitwarden architecture
  • Refine and enhance Bitwarden delivery pipelines, automation architecture, SDLC, and development practices
