  • An advanced degree (MD, DO, Ph.D., Pharm D) is required; NP and PA degrees with strong relevant clinical experience will be considered
  • A minimum of 2 years previous MSL or pharmaceutical Medical Affairs industry experience (e.g., Medical Information, Medical Communications, etc.) necessary and/or a minimum of 2 years of clinical or research experience in the area of Oncology and/or immunology strongly preferred
  • A Senior MSL requires minimum of 3-5 years of previous experience as a MSL (consideration will be made with comparable experience in research and/or pharmaceutical experience) and demonstrated track record of leadership in the MSL role:
  • Serves as a mentor for MSL team members, leading by example, actively sharing best practices through teaching, training, and modeling aspects of the MSL role in interactions with HCPs
  • Acts with a high degree of independence in the region/field and manages a variety of priorities and projects such as training, planning, content creation, advisory boards, etc
  • Solution- & flexible 'problem solver' who can take a project from A to Z
  • Grows KOL interface with company initiatives supporting corporate and medical strategy
  • Ability to research and critically analyze and communicate complex scientific and medical information and data
  • Ability to establish strong relationships and discuss complex scientific topics in a peer-to-peer manner

  • Participate in medical and scientific exchanges with the medical/ scientific community including advisory boards in a compliant manner
  • Provide medical/ clinical teams with feedback and insights from interactions with KOLs and investigators
  • Respond to and document unsolicited requests for information on Coherus BioSciences' products and clinical programs
  • Support internal requests for dossier review and comment, medical review/consideration of potential business development opportunities and other unique projects as requested
  • Participate in/support the training of Coherus field and home office employees
  • Facilitate research collaborations (including REMS programs, Real World Data [RWD] generation and investigator initiated trials [IITs) with key investigators including helping identify, establish and maintain such collaborations
  • Represent the company at medical meetings through Medical Affairs' Scientific Booth coverage and other related activities
  • Engage in speaker identification, training and evaluation and provide support for advisory board meetings as requested
