Job Description

Do you want to understand how a fast-growing AI company wins its biggest deals — and play a decisive role in it yourself? As our Pre-Sales Intern, you will work directly with our Solution Engineering team: the connection between Sales and Consulting. You will analyze companies, build business cases, and help translate complex customer challenges into compelling solutions.

No two days are the same. One day you might prepare a customer presentation, another day you will analyze why a competitor lost in a deal — and on another, you'll develop the winning argument that seals a deal.

What awaits you with us

• Prospect Research & Preparation: You analyze target companies — their industry, structure, and challenges. In doing so, you ask yourself questions like: How do people in the factories or retail stores there work? What challenges do they face in their daily routine? You analyze exactly how Flip, as a tailored solution, can give these employees a voice and help our team enter customer conversations with the right questions and hypotheses. The best part: You will participate in the customer meetings, experience the pre-sales process firsthand, and see directly how your research drives the deal forward.

• Business Case Development: You help build a compelling argument for every customer — why Flip, why now, why it fits. This can be a financial model, a strategic framework, or both.

• Market & Competitive Intelligence: You analyze how competing solutions are positioned and where Flip wins.

• Understanding Technical Environments: You support the understanding of a customer's IT landscape. You have initial coding experience or know how software works in principle — this helps you quickly grasp technical contexts and speak eye-to-eye with IT stakeholders.

• Team Support: You assist with demos, RFPs (tenders), and building materials that the entire team will use in the long run.

What you bring to the table

• You are currently studying Business Administration, Economics, (Business) Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field — ideally pursuing a Master's or an advanced Bachelor's degree.

• You think in a structured way, quickly adapt to new topics, and get things done.

• You communicate clearly and persuasively — in German (fluent, ideally at a native-equivalent level) and in English.

• Prior experience in Consulting, Sales, Business Development, or a startup is a plus — but not a must. What's more important is that you learn fast and have a hands-on mentality.

• An interest in B2B software, SaaS, or tech companies is an advantage — if you don't have one yet, you'll definitely develop it here!
