  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Civil Engineering or related program
  • A PE (Professional Engineering) license preferred
  • 5+ years of experience working on land / site development civil projects
  • AutoCAD and Civil 3D experience
  • Microsoft Word, Microsoft Project, and Excel experience
  • Strong written and verbal skills including public speaking
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the management of the entire project(s), start to finish.
  • Plan, schedule, conduct and coordinate each of the phases of the project (typical; Preliminary Grading, Preliminary Utility Layout, Final Grading, Final Utility Plan and Profiles, Construction Documents and Construction Phase services) to deliver a set of contract documents that will be used for permits and construction.
  • Responsible for preparation of all required design reports and analysis.
  • Provide construction services (Site visits, review shop drawings, etc.).
  • Be the key contact with the client, and their consultants and representatives.
  • Responsible for local, county, state and federal project code searches and analysis for each project.
  • Represent WM at required jurisdiction public design review or development approval meetings and make project presentations when required.
  • Working with the Ware Malcomb consultants (Typical team: MEP, Structural, and Landscape) and the client’s consultants (Typical: survey, environmental, and geotechnical), coordinate all of the various trades to achieve a complete, coordinated set of contract documents and specifications which will be used for permit and construction.
  • Be responsible for financial success of all responsible projects
