Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in data governance, risk, compliance, or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council, Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, and National Automated Clearing House Association requirements as they apply to data governance.
  • Working understanding of data privacy, access management, and security controls.
  • Experience identifying critical data elements and key data elements and managing data lineage.
  • Ability to manage documentation and evidence across multiple concurrent projects.
Responsibilities
  • Contribute to Data Governance Council meetings, prepare agendas, and complete follow-ups.
  • Develop standards, procedures, and a records retention framework aligned with Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council, Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, and National Automated Clearing House Association requirements.
  • Keep governance documentation current, organized, and audit-ready across each phase of the program buildout.
  • Prepare governance reports, scorecards, and dashboards for leadership.
  • Create investigations, escalations, remediation, and communications for data loss prevention and insider risk alerts and incidents.
  • Analyze user activity involving sensitive data, tune data loss prevention policies, and help mature data loss prevention processes and procedures.
  • Partner with Microsoft 365 administrators and Information Security on Microsoft Purview by providing governance direction, data loss prevention analysis, and control requirements.

  • Experience with Microsoft Purview.
  • Experience with Microsoft Defender for Cloud.
  • Experience writing regular expression strings.
