Requirements
  • Ontario P.Eng. designation required (or eligible)
  • 15+ years' experience in design and engineering of transportation infrastructure projects including BRT
  • Experience working with municipal transportation clients within the Greater Toronto Area
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proven track record to develop, mentor, and lead professional technical staff
Responsibilities
  • Lead Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) and road and bridge projects for municipal clients as a Project Manager
  • Delivering GHD’s projects to budget, schedule and quality standards; provides overall supervision and project management leadership
  • Being proactive and responsive to Clients requests, to go above and beyond in delivering client excellence
  • Monitors project schedules, coordinates and maintains contact with sub-consultants, Municipalities, Utility companies, Railway Owners and Operators and Clients, and assists with contract administration as assigned
  • Teamwork in small and large teams. Owning the integration with other engineering disciplines, engineers, and design staff in the production of high-quality project deliverables
  • Supporting Business Development including capture planning and leading proposals
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the business development strategy for relevant clients, including creating capture plans and enhancing client relationships
