Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Product Manager, working on backend services, APIs, or AI-powered products, ideally serving multiple client-facing teams.
  • High-level understanding of modern artificial intelligence concepts such as large language models, prompt design, agent architectures, and evaluation approaches.
  • Ability to understand technical concepts and work effectively with engineering and Data Science teams; a technical degree is a strong plus.
  • Good understanding of how AI-powered services are built and evaluated, and experience working effectively with Data Scientists and AI/ML Engineers.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the artificial intelligence regulatory landscape, compliance requirements, and data governance principles (e.g., experience collaborating with data protection officers and Legal teams).
  • Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking, with the ability to leverage quantitative and qualitative data to drive complex platform decisions.
  • A hands-on approach and the ability to take ownership of the product development process from ideation and compliance review to scalable launch.
  • Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to convey complex topics clearly and concisely to engineers, executives, and legal counsel (German is a plus).
Responsibilities
  • Platform Strategy & Ownership: Define, prioritize, and own the strategic roadmap for our internal "AI as a Platform", ensuring it provides robust, scalable, and easy-to-integrate services for all internal domain and product teams, enabling them to consume AI capabilities without requiring them to integrate with external APIs.
  • Identify Opportunities: Work in close collaboration with all internal domain and product teams to identify opportunities to employ AI capabilities, focusing on: Client Experience: Enhancing core client-facing product functionality through predictive modeling and personalization.; Operational Efficiency: Improving internal system scalability, fraud detection, and overall operational performance.
  • Use Case Implementation: Drive the implementation of strategic AI use cases across the company. Ensure efficient implementation by aligning implementation timelines across all teams involved (AI platform, domain teams, mobile,...).
  • AI Compliance & Governance: Act as the key product driver for AI compliance, regulatory adherence, and ethical usage. Define our approach to ensure all models and data usage are secure and compliant with current and emerging data protection laws.
  • Go-to-Market (GTM) for AI Features: Support the planning, launch, and post-launch monitoring of new client-facing AI features and capabilities, ensuring smooth coordination across Product, Engineering, Data, Operations, and Compliance.
  • Team Collaboration & Product Leadership: Lead the product development process for the cross-functional AI Platform team, managing agile processes, backlogs, and planning sessions, and translating high-level business goals into actionable user stories for Data Scientists and ML/AI Engineers.
  • Data-Driven Vision: Leverage data analysis, user needs (internal and external), market trends, and insights from LLM/AI system outputs and trace analysis, including analysis of AI agent performance and user feedback, to continuously inform and evolve the AI Platform vision and product strategy.
