Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar degree from an accredited institution, or equivalent work experience
  • Professional Engineer licensure
  • Minimum of ten (10) years experience in the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) design industry
  • HVAC design experience
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
Responsibilities

  • Manage projects as Lead Engineer and/or Project Manager, ensuring successful delivery of scope, schedule, and budget
  • Serve as Engineer of Record, ensuring technical excellence and regulatory compliance
  • Oversee project documentation, design quality, and adherence to Windsor’s Quality Management Plan (QMP)
  • Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver fully integrated design solutions
  • Conduct site visits to verify conditions, assess system performance, and support construction administration
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, acting as a trusted advisor and technical resource
  • Identify and pursue new project opportunities through proactive relationship building, networking, and market awareness
  • Support proposal development and estimating, including scope definition and fee preparation
  • Participate in client presentations, interviews, and business development meetings to promote Windsor’s capabilities
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop strategic accounts and explore opportunities for new markets or service lines
  • Mentor and train junior engineers, fostering technical growth and professional development
  • Promote knowledge sharing and a culture of continuous improvement within the engineering team
  • Develop and apply in-depth knowledge of HVAC and mechanical systems, building codes, and industry standards
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and sustainability practices to enhance energy efficiency and occupant comfort
