Job Description
As part of the core customer solutions team you will be responsible for leading an experienced team of architecture professionals in the network and unified communications space.
This is a role that is split between hands on architecture and management.
You will ideally come from a background working for a Professional Services firm or a large IT integrator.
You Will be responsible for;
- With the support of the Technical Operations Manager and Services Director, help develop and drive the solutions architecture vision and strategy
- Engage with the Technical Services Team Leader and PMO Director to ensure effective operation of the design authority for all project delivery
- This is a dual role, with both Team Lead and Solution Architect requirements.
- Responsibilities as a Solution Architect are to work closely with Account Managers, Project Managers and Senior Solutions Consultants to develop, present and deliver solution offerings to the clients
- Coach, mentor manage all members of the Solutions Architecture Team
- Build senior level relationships with key stakeholders, colleagues and vendors to generate solutions for end clients
- Drive business improvement initiatives through the refinement of solution development processes and quality systems
- Maintain an understanding of industry trends in the market place including innovative technical and competitive trends.
You will be able to demonstrate;
- 5+ years experience in a Services or Solutions Management role with both technical and business experience
- Tertiary qualifications in a technical and or business discipline
- Experience providing technical solution offerings within the unified communication space
- Experience delivering complex network solutions within an enterprise environment
- Extensive experience designing and implementing complex VoIP and Voice solutions (WAN/LAN)
- Solid understanding of Voice and UC principles (traditional and IP) and network interface principles
