Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative or technical subject
  • At least 1 year of work experience in renewable energy or asset management
  • Experience managing California located utility-scale solar and solar + storage projects preferred
  • Understanding of accounting and finance concepts
  • Experience in financial reporting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in Yardi, Nexus, and/or other ERP software systems
  • Ability to read legal documents and financial statements
  • High level of communication, organizational, and management skills
  • Ability to work in an organized, efficient manner with attention to detail
  • Ability to cope with shifting priorities, difficult situations, and deadlines
Responsibilities
  • Manage contract compliance, reporting, and analysis for renewable energy projects
  • Assist with day-to-day management duties including development support, investment diligence, operational management, planning, reporting, and compliance
  • Prepare reporting, invoicing, and other documents for review
  • Ensure project meter data is managed and submitted in accordance with metering plans and protocols
  • Prepare monthly invoicing and complete renewable energy credit transfers
  • Prepare monthly and annual operational reporting to management, investors, lenders, and other project stakeholders
  • Analyze PPA and Merchant Settlements
  • Track actual expenses vs. forecasted and budgeted amounts
  • Proactively identify issues on the projects and review supplier invoices
  • Maintain key software packages including QBI, Yardi, Sharepoint, etc
  • Manage contract compliance with various contractors, operators, consultants, and vendors
  • Exhibit a creative and innovative approach to solving problems and resolving issues
  • Review financial statements, prepare DSCR calculations, quarterly compliance certificates, and other metrics
  • Participate in discussions on operational issues and track progress by the O&M Contractor
  • Maintain schedules for deliverables, compliance, notice, and reporting activities
  • Manage project documentation including project files, notices, reports, work orders, invoices, regulatory documentation, etc.
