Experience with data and data solutions in cloud-based environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP,VMware, etc) is strongly preferred
Working knowledge of
Search frameworks/databases (e.g. Elasticsearch, Lucene, Neo4j, GraphDB, TypeDB )
Search appliances (e.g. MaxxCAT, Google Search Appliance, Thunderstone)
Cloud-based search services (e.g. Azure Cognitive Search, AWS Kendra, AWS CloudSearch ) is strong preferred
Cloud-based data/machine learning tools (e.g. AWS Macie, Amazon RedShift, Amazon Kinesis, Amazon Open Search Service, AWS Glue) is strong preferred
Working experience with ISO 27001, CoBIT, SSAE18 and/or other Information Security Management frameworks

Responsibilities

Oversee the design of multiple data models and have a broad understanding of how each model fulfils the needs of the business
Drive design, support and provide guidance for the upgrade, management, de-commission and archive of data in compliance with data policy
Drive design, support and provide guidance for search services across the business
Champion data architecture across different teams
Provide advice to project teams and oversee the management of the full data product life cycle
Responsibility for making sure that organizations systems are designed in accordance with the data architecture

Desired Qualifications

CDMP, AWS Architect/Data Analytics/Machine Learning or other data certifications is a plus

The Role:

As the ION Markets Data and Search Architect Lead, you are responsible for translating strategy and assisting with planning and governance for the specialism, supporting related operating practices and processes, providing expertise on the definition and implementation of relevant standards, communicating with a range of stakeholders, and providing highly advanced knowledge and advice to support wider business goals.
