Job Purpose:

BTIG is a global financial services firm specialising in institutional trading, investment banking and related brokerage services. The firm offers execution, expertise and insights for equities, ETFs and fixed income (bonds, convertible and loans). Core capabilities include global sales, portfolio, and outsource trading, and investment banking.

The Compliance Department is a dynamic team who protect the firm and partner with Sales, Trading and Investment Banking, to grow the business safely. We are a business enabler, looking to automate and streamline processes whilst ensuring that regulatory and legal requirements are always adhered to.

Duties & Responsibilities:

We are looking for a tech savvy, detail orientated individual with a can-do attitude who is happy to conduct tasks diligently whilst assisting in our automation journey.
Key to the role will be looking after client lists, onboarding new clients, assisting with seamless transaction reporting, creating charts that enable data-led decision making.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Conduct client onboarding
• Review overnight sanctions hits
• Review trade and transaction reporting
• Control Room tasks, such as approving PA dealing, monitor G&E and logged conflicts
• Create graphs and tables to present large data sets to senior management
• Assist with the embedding of new technologies such as Power Automate and Power BI
• Proficiency in excel and word
• Financial services experience a plus
• Proactive and self-motivated
• Organised with a detail oriented mindset
• Persistent with a "can do" attitude
• Team oriented
