Requirements
  • A Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree is required; an Associate’s degree plus two additional years of relevant experience, or four additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree, may be accepted.
  • Three to eight years of experience performing the duties described in the functional description is required.
  • Advanced skills in the Microsoft Office software suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, across desktop and Microsoft 365 versions, are required. Advanced Excel skills must include manipulating and analyzing complex data and working with emerging artificial intelligence tools.
  • Proficiency using the Acquisition Management System is required.
  • Familiarity with ACAT-level programs is required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Secretary of the Navy, Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, and Office of the Secretary of Defense forms related to the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution System is required.
  • Demonstrated experience managing program or project status, schedules, Statements of Work, and Contract Data Requirements Lists is required.
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds, stand and walk for prolonged periods, and twist, bend, and squat periodically.
  • Must be able to maintain a Secret-level security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required for the clearance at this location.
Responsibilities
  • Apply analytic techniques to evaluate program and project objectives, including analyzing requirements, status, budgets, and schedules.
  • Perform management, technical, or business case analyses.
  • Collect, complete, organize, and interpret data relating to aircraft, weapon, project acquisition, and product programs.
  • Track program and project status and schedules.
  • Apply government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management, and data management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Bowhead, via UIC Government Services (UICGS), provides federal contracting and government services to defense and civilian agencies. It offers IT, logistics and marine services, engineering, program management, and development and support of military training and modeling and simulations. It coordinates a family of subsidiary companies to tailor end-to-end solutions, including operations and maintenance and lifecycle support. Its goal is to help federal agencies meet missions by delivering reliable, integrated contracting services and mission-ready programs.
