Responsibilities
  • Support climate and sustainability research at the Center for Global Sustainability (CGS) by collaborating with CGS faculty, researchers, and partners to develop innovative approaches for achieving ambitious climate and sustainability goals at various levels.
  • Engage in research that may involve quantitative modeling (e.g., GCAM), empirical methods, qualitative/mixed methods, or analyses of energy systems, land use, and climate forcers shaping policy debates.
Desired Qualifications
  • Expertise in climate, energy, environment, and/or sustainability issues.
  • Background in quantitative analysis and modeling.
  • Strong coding skills in R and/or Python, where appropriate for the candidate’s discipline.
  • Excellent English language proficiency.
  • Excellent writing skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
