  • Enrolled in B.S./M.S. in Chemical Engineering, chemistry, Bioengineering or Biochemistry
  • Curious, ability to work independently or collaboratively as needed
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented with strong critical thinking skills and excel at identifying and solving problems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the mRNA PD team and cross-functional teams to design and execute experiments supporting Prime Medicine goals
  • Execute experiments to optimize and understand robustness of mRNA IVT, with a focus on downstream processes
  • Perform analytical testing for assessing mRNA quality
  • Effectively communicate results to internal and external meetings, and present final summary to the team
  • Document and manage all experimental planning and progress in electronic lab notebook in an organized manner, providing statistical analysis and troubleshooting where appropriate
Desired Qualifications
  • Prior experience with mRNA in vitro transcription, chromatography, and wet lab is preferred
  • Knowledge of tangential flow filtration, HPLC/UPLC instrumentation, Fragment Analyzer a plus
