Requirements
  • Extensive experience with word processing, spreadsheets, internet software, email, and database software.
  • Ability to learn and understand all safety hazards related to the work and safely and effectively use or operate work-related tools and equipment.
  • Ability to work in a plant operations or construction jobsite setting.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to perform sedentary to heavy work and operate office equipment of all types.
  • Ability to climb and maintain balance on steel or wood framework, stairs, ladders, and scaffolds.
  • Ability to frequently use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry, or feel objects.
  • Ability to perform prolonged bending, twisting, walking, overhead reaching, squatting, sitting, standing, and lifting.
  • Ability to traverse uneven terrain, ladders, and multi-floor buildings without an elevator, including muddy conditions, loose rock, and loose or soft sand.
  • Ability to work in adverse weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain.
  • Close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to drive cars or trucks as needed.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with management, supervision, and field workers.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with planning, directing, and coordinating activities for designated projects to ensure goals and objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frames and funding parameters.
  • Assist in reviewing project proposals or plans to determine time frames, funding limitations, procedures, staffing requirements, and resource allocation for project phases.
  • Perform contract administration, billing, submittal processing, bid preparation, and filing as required by the project.
  • Update and maintain the construction schedule.
  • Document daily activities and identify and solve onsite construction issues.
  • Prepare and supervise completion of project closeout.
  • Assist other craft workers as needed.
