That’s why we are hiring a Director of E-Commerce Product to join our expanding Growth team and take on responsibilities spanning the consumer website, fulfillment infrastructure, and core analytics systems. This is a high-impact role within the organization, with the opportunity to manage the top revenue channel product (D2C), owning a critical part of the growth engine. 

How you’ll contribute:

First and foremost, we are a mission-driven company, so a passion for what we do and our mission is key. At a high level, the role encompasses three areas:

• Design and drive forward the strategy to maximize the performance of eightsleep.com

  • Identify the best paths to educate and convert visitors to our website through best practices in UX, UI, and CRO.

  • Oversee the process to support customers all the way through the delivery of their purchases. 

  • Continuously analyze data both quantitative and qualitative to identify new testing opportunities that can drive growth. 

  • Manage all the feature development of our e-commerce.

  • Collaborate with SEO experts to maintain content and technical optimizations up to date.

• Oversee the product organization that owns eightsleep.com

  • Scope, prioritize, and coordinate all projects, deadlines, and team resources to advance the performance of our website and delivery experience.

  • Translate high-level strategy into detailed technical requirements and high-fidelity prototypes. 

  • Work closely with the development team to accelerate delivery while maintaining a high level of quality. 

  • Using a defined department budget, hire and manage a team that can deliver on the needs of the role. 

What you’ll need to succeed:

• You are interested in the health and wellness space, particularly sleep.

• 5+ years of experience in relevant roles with proven success driving e-commerce revenue above 8 figures/year. 

• 3+ years of experience in product managing a team of developers and designers.

• Intuitive understanding of how to manipulate, analyze and interpret highly complex data; ability to synthesize vast amounts of user data into a coherent understanding of needs and motivations.

• You can build and scale a team, and you enjoy working remotely.

• You are excited about the opportunity to build a fast-growing brand into an iconic company.

Bonus points for:

• Experience working at a consumer products company focusing on health and wellness. 

• Knowledge of design programs (Figma, Sketch, Photoshop).

• A background in mathematics or statistics.
