What you will get to do:

• Conduct product inspection and testing using CMMs, gauges, and other measuring techniques to ensure compliance with customer requirements
• Promptly report all quality deviations to operating personnel and managers for corrective action
• Participate in corrective/preventive action processes and document actions to enhance product quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction
• Control non-conforming products and maintain adherence to customer quality system requirements
• Ensure ISO compliance within company operations and uphold ISO accreditation for Walerko Tool and Engineering
• Submit accurate and timely reports on quality assurance, inspection, and testing to senior management
• Participate in Quality-related calls, webinars, and meetings, both internally and at customers’ facilities as needed
• Responsible for leading audits, internal and external for quality systems 

what will make you successful:

• 5+ years of experience in a quality inspector, quality technician, or quality engineer role in a job shop machine or tool and die shop environment
• Proficient in reading, analyzing, and interpreting blueprints and plans
• Acute understanding of tolerances, including block and geometric tolerancing
• Ability to operate and work with CMMs, surface plates, gauges, and other measuring equipment
• Proficient in interpreting inspection reports, determining variances, assembling customer reports, and investigating sources of error
• Familiarity with ISO operating standards and the ability to relate them to company procedures and operations
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with the Production Manager, Shop Supervisors, and employees to identify sources of variance and assess potential product impact
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree in Engineering or Business
• Desirable: Certified Quality Control Technician, Familiarity with DD2345
