Requirements
  • You have deep digital product experience & strong instincts: you’ve studied and built world class consumer experiences (ideally in ecommerce).
  • You offer program/project management expertise: you can masterfully scope and manage a months-long, complex/technical project from end to end (and likely even have preferred processes and tools to do so).
  • You’re a strong communicator: you can interface with senior audiences, internally and externally; you can easily articulate complex details and help audiences quickly understand the 'so what'.
  • You’ve been told you have a high EQ: you know how to 'read the room' and can quickly build rapport + credibility with XFN partners (esp technical and senior audiences).
  • You have an extreme sense of ownership: you take full responsibility for your scope of work. You are proactive in solving ambiguous problems and inspire your teammates to excel.
  • You’re detail-oriented: you have meticulous attention to detail, ensuring no small element is overlooked. Your thoroughness helps you anticipate issues and plan beyond immediate tasks.
  • You’re even-keeled: you thrive under pressure and maintain a sense of calm when facing challenging and time-sensitive goals. You’re a builder: you thrive on building from the ground up. You excel at creating structure and process, and you’re resourceful in figuring out answers to complex questions with minimal oversight.
  • You’re low ego: you want to GSD and are willing to do whatever it takes to make that happen; no responsibility or task is too trivial or 'too tactical.'
  • You move fast: speed excites you. You prefer to achieve results today rather than waiting for tomorrow.
  • You can toggle between strategic and tactical: you’re equally comfortable with high-level strategic planning and getting into the weeds to execute.
  • You have relevant experience: you have 6-10+ years of experience in product, product ops, strategy/biz ops, or technical GTM roles – ideally in a fast-paced environment focused on outcomes.
Responsibilities
  • Dive into the lowest level of detail to ensure successful execution. You will meticulously anticipate and address potential challenges as we rapidly scale. You will work directly with internal and external partners to implement strategies and scale processes while maintaining operational excellence.
  • Develop comprehensive strategies to support and scale the Enterprise Digital Ordering business, considering both immediate and long-term success. You will tailor strategies to leverage DoorDash’s technology and maximize impact & growth for our Restaurant partners.
  • Establish and own the infrastructure needed for massive growth in the business. From there, you will lead 0 to 1 opportunities, creating roadmaps for future growth vectors and owning key outcomes.
  • Value and build strong partnerships across DoorDash, including Product, Engineering, Account Management, Analytics, Finance, and many others. You will work together to bring your strategies to life.
  • Leverage complex datasets and qualitative inputs to generate insights and recommendations. You will use data and experimentation to refine processes and drive measurable improvements for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Represent the DoorDash brand with humility and a customer-first mindset. You will navigate ambiguous environments and provide structure for undefined opportunities by creating playbooks and templates. You will precisely communicate your plans to align your team and cross-functional partners with your goals.

DoorDash connects customers with local and national restaurants for on-demand food delivery. Operating mainly in the U.S. and expanding to Canada and Australia, it serves individual consumers seeking convenient meal options and restaurants wanting to reach more customers without extra infrastructure. The platform allows users to browse menus and place orders easily, which has become increasingly popular, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. DoorDash operates a three-sided marketplace involving customers, restaurants, and delivery drivers, known as "Dashers." The company earns revenue by charging restaurants a commission for each order, as well as delivery and service fees to customers. This model effectively supports growth and enhances its presence in the food delivery market.

Instacart Introduces Alcohol-Focused Fizz App To Tap Gen Z Market

Instacart is reportedly rolling out an app targeting Generation Z consumers, centered around group orders of drinks and party snacks. This app, Fizz, lets multiple users contribute to a single order, pay for their own purchases and have them delivered together for a flat fee of $5, Bloomberg News reported Tuesday (May 6), citing comments from Daniel Danker, Instacart’s chief product officer. He said that Fizz will be complementary to Instacart, with younger users employing the app and then turning to Instacart as their “lives evolve.” The push follows Instacart’s recent move to reduce the minimum spend to $10 from $35 for paid subscribers to receive free delivery, a decision that increased engagement
