Requirements
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team is required.
  • The ability to read blueprints is required.
  • Strong knowledge of optical comparators is required.
  • Proficiency using calipers, micrometers, drop indicators, gauges, and other standard quality measuring devices is required.
  • Strong basic arithmetic skills are required.
  • An understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing standards is required.
  • Strong basic computer skills are required.
  • Experience with ISO 9001, AS9100, or ISO 13485 Quality Management Systems is required.
Responsibilities
  • Perform simple and complex measurements in accordance with company standards and procedures.
  • Keep accurate records of inspections on product travelers and process logs.
  • Perform First Article Inspections.
  • Guide new products through the Production Part Approval Process.
  • Perform data entry and review Quality Inspection Plans for accuracy.
  • Approve or reject products based on relevant standards.
  • Perform visual inspections according to customer and industry requirements.
  • Review documentation produced by the Quality Control Inspection Team.
  • Examine and audit records for accuracy against product specifications.
  • Comply with all environmental, health, and safety requirements for work areas, including personal protective equipment requirements.
Desired Qualifications
  • Three to five years of manufacturing inspection experience in quality control is preferred.
  • College or technical coursework leading to a degree or certificate is preferred.
