Requirements
  • Experience, including internships, working in a product management team and demonstrating impact in a short time.
  • Ability to use artificial intelligence tools and experiment with new tools and use cases to improve product outcomes.
  • Awareness of energy commodities markets or similar trading or financial markets, with a proven learning track record.
  • Ability to identify and validate customer problems, explain rationale with data, and use data to measure success.
  • Ability to build and iterate data prototypes quickly and collaborate with go-to-market stakeholders to engage target customers and conduct product discovery.
  • Ability to use guided return-on-investment calculations and apply analytical rigour to prioritization recommendations.
  • Familiarity with Silicon Valley Product Group teachings, North Star, Jobs to Be Done, RICE models, and other product management tools.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams to achieve outcomes.
Responsibilities
  • Execute and refine the product roadmap for flows and onshore inventory products covering crude and refined products, aligned with product vision and strategy.
  • Identify and prioritize customer problems and product ideas to focus product efforts on high-value areas aligned with business objectives.
  • Use artificial intelligence tools to combine quantitative platform analytics, qualitative customer feedback, and competitor insights to identify signals and improve the product lifecycle from ideation and rapid prototyping through post-launch growth.
  • Implement rapid product discovery and prototype tests, including gathering feedback and validation from subject matter experts, customers, and prospects.
  • Track defined success metrics and key performance indicators, identify hits and misses, and recommend options to optimize outcomes or pivot.
  • Define user stories, acceptance criteria, and priorities, and work with technical product managers and engineers to address questions, resolve issues, and remove blockers to build and release.
  • Collaborate with technical product managers, design, engineering, product marketing, and customer success teams to deliver and bring new products, features, and improvements to market.
