Requirements
  • BS in a relevant field such as Engineering, Computer Science, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Minimum, 1-3 years of experience and knowledge in simulation model development and process
  • Demonstrate competency with the discrete event simulation concepts, best practice, and methodologies
  • Ability to apply statistical methods and quantitative analysis to simulation problems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Responsibilities
  • Assisting in the development of discrete event simulation models to analyze the performance of material handling systems
  • Supporting pre-sale efforts through the execution of throughput & sizing analysis of individual areas within a facility
  • Setting up and administers simulation scenarios and experiment statistical runs
  • Supporting the execution of statistical analysis, interpreting results, and presenting to project team
  • Assisting in developing customer presentations
  • Completing designated tasks on time and budget
  • Clearly communicating complex principles, ideas, and concepts
  • Using sound business judgment and discretion when handling customers’ information
  • Assisting in improving overall project team processes, documentations, and methodology of simulation deliverables
