Requirements
  • Qualifying applicants must currently be matriculated legal students and must be based in the United States for the entire duration of the internship.
  • The internship is open only to students enrolled at United States law schools who will have completed at least one year of law school before the internship commences.
  • The internship is part-time (10, 15 or 20 hours per week) or full-time (35 hours per week).
  • Location options include remote or hybrid work, based in Washington, D.C. or San Francisco, California.
  • Stipend is not provided and position is course credit only.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in legal research and writing, including memos and portions of court submissions.
  • Conduct factual investigation and support preparation for court cases, including depositions, oral arguments, hearings, or trials.
  • Support DRP litigation work and integrated advocacy across priority areas; participate in litigation, advocacy, and internal meetings and discussions.
