Requirements
  • High school graduation or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 5 years of mechanical assembly-related experience or 6 to 10 years of similar electrical or mechanical experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex manufacturing drawings, process specifications, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Experience with electrostatic discharge processes and controls.
  • Ability to read and interpret language on drawings and understand oral instructions.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers and decimals.
  • Ability to apply common-sense understanding to detailed written or oral instructions and address problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Ability to regularly lift or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift or move more than 100 pounds.
  • Ability to meet the stated physical and visual requirements, including standing, reaching, climbing or balancing, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth vision.
Responsibilities
  • Assemble electrical components and circuits by reading and interpreting specifications, assembly drawings, outline drawings, and bills of materials.
  • Wire components together, including cutting and bending conduit when required.
  • Perform small precision assembly and assembly of large units as required.
  • Fabricate or modify parts or structures according to specifications using drills and cutters.
  • Complete documentation and maintain traceability records.
  • Use drawings and bills of materials to pull the correct parts for the assembly process.
  • Perform assignments with minimal direction.
  • Assist and guide lesser-skilled team members.
  • Work in manufacturing areas including machining, winding, coil and other assembly, painting, testing, and shipping.
  • Perform in-process quality checks, including electrical testing, close-tolerance measuring, and documentation.
  • Operate equipment and perform normal overhead crane lifts.
  • Maintain a safe, efficient, and clean work area.
  • Manufacture products to customer and company standards while maintaining quality.
  • Comply with company policies, including drug-free workplace, ISO 9001 standards, affirmative action, and safety procedures.
  • Maintain regular attendance and perform additional assigned duties.
  • Interface with team members, customers, and other division workers.

It also supplies motor controls, renewal motor parts, engineering services, and large-motor repairs, supported by in-house engineering and service capabilities.
