RF-SMART Unveils Parcel Shipping Solution for Oracle Fusion Cloud

RF-SMART unveils parcel shipping solution for Oracle Fusion Cloud. March 16, 2026 RF-SMART has introduced a new parcel shipping tool that can handle multiple carriers, which has been designed for Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM. This is intended to simplify shipping, reduce manual processes, and speed up order fulfillment in warehouses. And this move shows how software changes are affecting logistics and supply chains. Automating key tasks lets companies grow their shipping capacity more smoothly. It seems hard to ignore how these updates improve daily operations. A modern shipping solution for cloud-based supply chains. The new system, named RF-SMART Shipping, enables multi-carrier parcel shipping to be accessed directly within Oracle's cloud-based supply chain platform. It can be seamlessly integrated with warehousing operations, enabling organizations to manage shipping operations with a single system, rather than using multiple systems that are not interconnected with each other. Organizations that use Oracle's supply chain management system have in the past had to rely on different systems to compare different rates from different carriers, manage their shipments, and also track their delivery. RF-SMART's solution addresses these challenges by automating several key shipping functions, including: Carrier rate comparison and selection Barcode-driven shipment processing Real-time shipping data synchronization Automated warehouse shipping workflows With all of these capabilities in one place, companies can simplify their logistics processes and have greater insight into their shipping activities. The company claims that the technology has already been tested by over 450 shipping customers, which validates its potential to speed up and enhance the accuracy of shipping processes in different industries, including retail, manufacturing, healthcare, and distribution. Fixing slow spots in warehouse work. Out there, shipping usually marks the last step inside a warehouse, so it shapes how smoothly things move across the whole supply line. Still, when people handle tasks by hand or tech systems fail to link up, hiccups tend to pop up right at that point. Challenges with Oracle Cloud SCM Manually comparing carrier pricing across different platforms Limited visibility into shipping costs and performance Complex configuration requirements that often require IT support Out there where machines move goods but packages still stumble at the last stop, RF-SMART steps in. What happens next? Scanning codes sets tasks in motion instead of waiting on typed updates. Rules built into the system take charge once labels are printed. Fewer keystrokes mean fewer delays piling up by the loading dock. Speed finds its way through smarter handoffs from warehouse racks to carrier trucks. When firms handle large amounts of order processing, these upgrades often cut delivery delays while also lowering daily expenses. Impact on the logistics and Supply Chain industry. The shift to integrated multi-carrier shipping fits with broader digital trends in logistics and supply chains. Global trade, e-commerce growth, and faster delivery needs have made supply chain networks more complicated. Companies are putting money into tools that offer real-time visibility, automation, and the ability to scale operations. Cloud-based platforms help manage inventory, shipping, and warehouse activities on an ongoing basis. For now, solutions like RF-SMART Shipping show how tech providers support businesses by adding logistics features to existing ERP and supply chain systems. And these tools allow firms to handle more demand without losing control over operations. At least in theory, this integration simplifies coordination across different carriers. Advantages for companies in every field. Cloud-based supply systems might handle multiple carriers better, helping companies that rely heavily on shipping. A shift like this tends to ease daily operations where delivery speed matters most. 1. Faster Order Fulfillment Speed picks up when order steps run on their own, letting businesses keep pace with shoppers who expect packages sooner. Shipment routines that move without constant input cut delays, matching quicker turnaround times customers now rely on. 2. Lower Operational Costs Fewer hands on deck when machines take over means less money spent on workers. Mistakes in sending out orders drop sharply once human steps fade away. 3. Clearer View of Supply Chain Fleet movements update instantly, so companies see delays as they happen while delivery routes stay visible across departments - cost patterns emerge clearer when information flows without lag. 4. Scaling Up With Business Growth Floating on remote servers, shipping systems grow with a company's workload when more orders pour in. Busy seasons test capacity - these tools adjust without breaking stride. For online stores, factories, and bulk sellers, smart logistics often mean better profits - while also keeping buyers happy. What matters most shows up in how things move from place to place. Smooth handling doesnt just save money; it shapes what customers think. When shipments work well, results follow without extra noise. Behind every delivery is a chain that either helps or hurts The growing role of cloud logistics platforms. However, it should be noted that the RF-SMART announcement also points to the rising significance of cloud-based logistics platforms such as Oracle's supply chain ecosystem. Generally, cloud-based platforms help organizations develop a centralized system that combines different aspects of inventory management, warehouse operations, and shipping activities. This allows organizations to develop a cohesive and connected supply chain system. Emerging technologies like artificial intelligence, robotics, and predictive analytics are being added to supply chain platforms. This helps firms improve logistics planning and cut operational risks. The future of digital supply chains. Global supply chains keep changing. Businesses focus on automation, real-time tracking, and linked systems. Multi-carrier shipping platforms matter because they link warehouse work with transport routes and last-mile delivery. RF-SMART Shipping shows how tech firms are fixing gaps in logistics workflows. It lets companies run better in tough markets. Whats next for logistics? Digital tools that bring together warehouse control, shipping, and data analysis will shape future supply chains. And this shift will grow faster as demand increases.
