Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in production design for marketing or other design-centric agency
  • Comprehensive knowledge of digital production processes
  • Understanding of standards governing final file deliverables for:
  • Social and web media
  • Email marketing platforms
  • Video editors/animators
  • Print-on-demand vendors and platforms
  • Event and presentation partners
  • Grasp of accessibility requirements for digital deliverables
  • Understanding of image compression and optimization techniques
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the offset printing process and how to pre-press files for different print mediums
  • Understanding of color correction and all color reproduction methods (i.e. spot, duo/tritone,4-color)
  • Skilled with image retouching
  • Demonstrated experience in high-resolution production output techniques and file preparation protocols for all output mediums
  • Software expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Adobe Creative Cloud libraries, Adobe Acrobat, Apple Keynote and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word)
  • Familiarity with digital asset management tools, image hosting platforms and content management systems
  • Strong organizational, project and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
  • Experience and aptitude in a wide variety of creative disciplines from print to interactive
  • Understanding of advanced graphic design principles (e.g. grid layouts, typography best practices, etc.)
  • An expert superuser of software tools used by the design team
  • Understands, adheres to and advocates for client standards, guidelines and ground rules
  • Builds and maintains templates for design and identity systems
  • Respectful of process and its ability to provide order, realize efficiencies and mitigate mistakes; adheres to naming and back-up procedures to ensure proper archiving of digital assets
  • Understands relationships between scan, print and projected resolution issues
  • Creates clean, organized final files across a wide variety of deliverables and platforms
