  • Proven experience in operational planning, preferably within the wastewater or utilities sector
  • Experience in data analysis and performance measurement
  • Experience in collaborating with various stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, contractors, and internal team
  • Minimum of 5 GCSE’s or equivalent, including English and Mathematics at grade C or above
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain detailed operational plans to ensure the efficient functioning of wastewater treatment facilities
  • Identify Investment Manager submissions for RIO / H&S and Planned Need Statements
  • Optimise the allocation of resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to meet operational needs
  • Plan and schedule routine and preventive maintenance activities to minimise downtime and ensure the reliability of equipment
  • Schedule all planned work for the Operational area, Major and Minor servicing, sump cleaning and contractor appointments
  • Track, manage and raise/remove Maintenance Schedule Tasks, adjusting their frequency and/or work instructions based on feedback from contractors and operational teams carrying out the work
  • Review operational data to identify trends, forecast needs, and improve planning processes
  • Identify asset data quality issues and inform the SPS Manager to ensure these are resolved and where required propose improvement actions for better asset performance
  • Ensure all plans and schedules comply with relevant environmental regulations and standards
