We're currently recruiting 2 x Planners to join our team in based in Plymouth. We have one role available on a permanent full time basis and one role on a 12 month fixed term contract. You will receive a competitive salary of £30,693 per annum.
About the role:
The Wastewater Operations Planner is responsible for developing and maintaining detailed plans and schedules to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of wastewater treatment facilities.
What you’ll be doing:
- Develop and maintain detailed operational plans to ensure the efficient functioning of wastewater treatment facilities
- Identify Investment Manager submissions for RIO / H&S and Planned Need Statements
- Optimise the allocation of resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to meet operational needs
- Plan and schedule routine and preventive maintenance activities to minimise downtime and ensure the reliability of equipment
- To schedule all planned work for the Operational area, Major and Minor servicing, sump cleaning and contractor appointments
- Track, manage and raise/remove Maintenance Schedule Tasks, adjusting their frequency and/or work instructions based on feedback from contractors and operational teams carrying out the work
- Review operational data to identify trends, forecast needs, and improve planning processes
- Identify asset data quality issues and inform the SPS Manager to ensure these are resolved and where required propose improvement actions for better asset performance
- Ensure all plans and schedules comply with relevant environmental regulations and standards
What we are looking for:
- Proven experience in operational planning, preferably within the wastewater or utilities sector
- Experience in data analysis and performance measurement
- Experience in collaborating with various stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, contractors, and internal team
- Minimum of 5 GCSE’s or equivalent, including English and Mathematics at grade C or above
