- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related science from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 1-3 years of related laboratory work experience in a pharmaceutical environment
- Equivalent combination of training and experience if applicable
- Experience with HPLC and GC analyses
- Good cGMP knowledge
- Physical requirements and working conditions include extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, lifting materials weighing up to 50 pounds, vision to monitor and moderate to loud noise levels; may be exposed to toxic materials, toxic gases, electrical hazards, dangerous tools and equipment; work is performed in laboratory environments; must be able to use personal protective equipment such as respirators and gloves
- Performs testing of raw materials and drug products
- Maintenance and calibration of analytical instruments
- Prepares standard and sample solutions
- Maintains appropriate records
