Job Description
The NM Technologist, under the direction of the Radiologist and Radiology Director, performs all NM procedures in accordance with ACR, ARRT, state regulations, and departmental policies. The NM tech is responsible for ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures. Possesses highly technical skills to operate sophisticated equipment and radiopharmaceuticals for the above-mentioned examinations. The Technologist must exhibit expertise in patient care based on needs appropriate for all patient demographics. Other duties as deemed necessary..

Education:
- Graduate of an approved and accredited A.R.R.T. program.
- Graduate of an approved and accredited nuclear medicine program
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience
- Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple demands/deadlines.
- Position may require some overtime, on call responsibilities, and ability to coordinate several activities simultaneously.
Licenses/Certificates:
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or NMTCB certified.
- CPR certification required.
- Licensed by the SCRQSA
