Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience with technical IT, including modernization, enterprise architecture, system integration, automation platforms, and security
  • Experience with using Zero Trust principles and design, including Just-in-Time access, Principal of Least Privilege, ICAM, PKI, MFA, and network segmentation, and applying them to infrastructure and application security policies
  • Experience with designing and implementing security solutions for network, system, and application security
  • Experience with configuring and managing infrastructure security tools, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and IAM solutions
  • Experience with leveraging Microsoft PowerShell to automate install, configure, harden, and maintain Windows systems
  • Ability to create and test virtualized environments, including VMWare, OpenShift, Hyper-V, or AWS for development and testing procedures that are traceable to system requirements
  • Ability to install, configure, and administer in a multi-system and or multi-application environment in both Windows and Linux OSs
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED
  • IAT Level II Certification, including Security+ CE
Responsibilities
  • Lead the architecture and design efforts of innovative cybersecurity solutions and service offerings to protect federal government networks
  • Coordinate with a dynamic team of thought leaders and experts to identify the right mix of tools and techniques to translate customer’s IT security needs and future goals into a plan that will enable secure and effective solutions
  • Investigate new techniques, break free from the legacy model, and go where the industry is going
  • Lead the team through a critical approach to security architecture design, providing alternatives and customizing solutions to maintain a balance of security and mission needs
  • Help customers overcome their most difficult challenges by integrating cybersecurity technologies and solutions, including IoT, OT, and Cloud security, Automation and Orchestration (A&O), identity and access management, conditional based access, attribute-based access control, and micro-segmentation
