Requirements
  • The applicant must be at least 21 years old.
  • The applicant must hold a valid Commercial Driver’s License Class A or B with a Tanker Endorsement.
  • The applicant must be able to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including climbing ladders, bending, and twisting.
  • The applicant must demonstrate a strong safety mindset.
  • The applicant must have a safe driving record with limited motor vehicle record moving violations or Public Safety Performance report violations during the past 36 months.
  • The applicant must have no speeding violation over 100 miles per hour during the past five years.
  • The applicant must pass a Department of Transportation-mandated pre-employment drug test; a positive result for any controlled substance, including marijuana, disqualifies applicants.
  • The applicant will be subject to Department of Transportation random drug and alcohol testing after hire.
Responsibilities
  • Operate an automatic straight truck weighing 12,000–20,000 pounds gross vehicle weight on local delivery routes.
  • Deliver cooking oil to commercial kitchens while ensuring safe and accurate deliveries and providing customer service.
  • Safely connect truck hoses to customer oil tanks to load and unload cooking oil.
  • Use company-issued iPhone applications for route tracking, invoicing, and compliance.
  • Communicate clearly and respectfully with customers to meet their needs.
  • Monitor tank levels to avoid oil outs and ensure seamless service.
  • Uphold Department of Transportation, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points safety standards.
Desired Qualifications
  • A high school diploma or General Educational Development credential is highly preferred.
  • Two or more years of Commercial Driver’s License-regulated driving experience is preferred.
  • Bilingual ability is preferred.
  • Comfort using hand tools and performing basic troubleshooting is preferred.
