Requirements
  • A degree from a National Architectural Accrediting Board-accredited architecture program or equivalent is required.
  • At least 10 years of experience in commercial design is required.
  • Proficiency in Revit and technical excellence are required.
  • A thorough understanding of how a drawing set is assembled is required.
  • An understanding of constructability and how things are built is required.
  • An understanding of building and accessibility codes is required.
  • Experience coordinating with a variety of consultants and contractors is required.
  • Professional registration is required.
  • Effective organizational and communication skills are required.
  • Attention to detail is required.
  • The ability to collaborate in a diverse project team environment is required.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating and leading project teams is required.
  • The ability to translate design concepts and information into images is required.

  • The position requires full-time on-site attendance at the assigned office Monday through Friday during standard business hours.

Responsibilities
  • Generate creative design solutions within the functional parameters of a project.
  • Prepare and coordinate all project deliverables.
  • Manage contract administration responsibilities.
  • Coordinate with a variety of consultants.
  • Provide leadership to staff.
  • Manage client relations and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Function in a team lead capacity while working on multiple projects.
  • Assist with the creation and management of project schedules.
  • Develop and present appropriate technical solutions to stakeholders.
  • Assist with leading project studio team members, leveraging their strengths, and providing mentorship.
  • Proactively resolve issues between project design and technical objectives in coordination with the Project Manager.
  • Execute coordination and integration of architectural and consultant documents.
  • Seek innovation in design solutions to improve project performance.
  • Apply appropriate industry standards and construction practices.
  • Maintain awareness of and appropriately apply new methodologies, practices, codes, and products.
  • Attend and conduct presentations.
Desired Qualifications
  • Aviation experience is strongly preferred.
  • Transportation-related experience is highly desired.
